baby

For the past couple of weeks we have had a tiny, adorable visitor.

And no, the baby pictured above is not The Day Crawler.

I haven’t been around a baby in decades.  My youngest is 19 going on 35.  To say that having a baby in the house was an eye opening experience is to put it mildly.

But even though it had been many years, caring for an infant was as simple as getting back on a bike. Especially with one as well-tempered as The Day Crawler.  That child only stopped smiling and playing when it was time for her to shove food down her cake hole.

Man, can that kid eat.  And eat everything.

Unfortunately, her parents are evil, selfish people who feel that just because they are the parents that they have every right to take her back home with them.

Mean people.

Just means that the next time we have that child, we are going to spoil her much more than we did this time.

You can count on that.
