lies

Here is an interesting question…..How many times do you have to tell a lie before it becomes true?

Think about that one for a moment.

“I did not have sexual relations with that woman.”

“The United States did not ay any time trade arms for hostages.”

Lies are slippery, slimy things. They slide so easily out of your mouth. And once out, they slither and slide around….unable to be pinned down.

With voracious appetites. They have to be fed. Constantly. With more lies. We all have been there. We all have told lies. If you say that you haven’t, they that is the lie right there kiddo.

Authors who have lied about books. Newspaper journalists who have lied about the articles they have written. TV journalists who have lied about being shot at….why anyone would lie about being shot at I still don’t understand. Men who have lied about having affairs. Men who have lied about taking advantage of women.  Surprise, surprise.

When will folks understand that no matter how you think you have crafted a lie…it is always a lie. No matter what.

And that ain’t no lie.
