No time.

What time is it?

Time has run out.

Time in!

Is it time yet?

This was just the wrong time.

Can’t think of a better time.

Do you have enough time?

Time is running out.

A construct is defined as “an idea or theory containing various conceptual elements, typically one considered to be subjective and not based on empirical evidence.”

A concept is defined as “an abstract idea; a general notion.”

Time is man made. As early as 3500 BC sticks were used to follow the sun via shadow. As early as 1500 BC Egyptians had the use of portable sun dials.

Why?

Why do we care? Prior to the Industrial Revolution people rose when the sun did, they went to sleep when the sun went down. Life was simple.

With the advent of the Industrial Revolution, companies needed people to show up at a specific time so that they could produce what was being produced. Hence the propogation of time pieces, and eventually alarms.

Fast forward to today.

Most of us wake up to an alarm. It tells us to get up so that those of us who are “wage slaves” can be at their assigned stations to begin to do that which they have been hired to do. All to earn the money that we need to pay our bills.

We have sold our futures.

Time.

Does anyone really know what time it is?
