The things in my head:
I do not feel that words have been created to fully describe the bomdeliciousedness of the steaks I made to day out on my gas grill.
Oh. My. God. They were the absolute best that I have ever grilled. Tender, juicy, and medium rare. That paired with my Mom’s almost-just-like-her-recipe-that-I-called-and-asked-her-for-the-other-morning potato salad. Mom, I just added some more onion, and some really good mustard to it. It was kickin’. You would have liked it. Other than I didn’t put in any celery as this family that I have married in, doesn’t like celery. And they tend to put a lot of salt on their food.
Strange.
So, that was my peaceful Memorial Day. That and falling asleep in the hammock for a while.
Namaste.
