Every year around this time I start thinking about the repairs that I want to do to The Red Beast. Here in Pennsylvania you have to have our vehicles inspected on an annual basis. I have to have my truck inspected by the end of April each year. And with it being an older vehicle, I need to get things fixed on a regular basis.
So far this year, I replaced the ball joints, the EGR valve, plugs, wires, and tires. I am thinking that the clutch, and the air conditioning system will be next. I think that the air conditioning compressor is ok, but I am sure that it needs to be recharged. I have a friend who owns a BMW, how he can afford it I have no idea but he does. Anyway we got to talking about talking about auto ac parts and the cost of a BMW or Mercedes AC compressor. I feel a lot better about the cost of parts for The Red Beast after that one.
