The things in my head go ’round and ’round

This is my life. You can’t have it.

Lets look at what was happening last year

Taking it easy this Labor Day morning. I have some major housecleaning to do, but right now I am just hangin’ and watching the news.

Took a small journey through the past, looking at what I was doing last year at this time and it seems that I was just a might bitter about having to work on Labor Day.

I also had one of my kids celebrate a birthday.

I didn’t have a Sheetz burger last night, I had frozen pizza, but it looks like my eating habits haven’t changed much over the past year. Nor my way of looking at things.

MLW and The Princess are coming home tomorrow. Consequently I have to clean up the beer bottles, and do the dishes. We had folks in on Saturday who painted, and finished putting up the cabinets in the kitchen. Now all we have to do is to paper the walls and the kitchen is done. That is exciting. We also upgraded the electrical service in this house finally. Now I can run the dishwasher and the microwave without popping breakers.

Looks like things are looking up.

What is going on in your world?

The Things in My Head – Tuesday

The Things in My Head hate morning TV. I am really sick of Crossing Jordan about now.

Depression is not the laugh a minute state that I thought it was.

Though the manic parts of it are pretty interesting.

And I am really hating the fact that I woke up an hour earlier than I needed to because I forgot to change the alarm before I went to bed last night.

I am not happy.

Today has been rather fubar

You know what fubar means don’t you?

F@@@ed Up Beyond All Recall.

Fubar.

Started with trying to get the remaining 2 tires put on my truck. Which I have been working on for the past 3 weeks. Went to drop the truck off this morning, and found that the garage was closed until noon. WTF??

Then I had to run something to the school for The Princess. Now I am going to go to the Dr to have a mole taken off of the back of my head.

Because I am tired of trying to shave my head around it. I tag it way too many times and it bleeds like a stuck pig. So, it is time to get it taken off. The only concern I have is that I hope that it doesn’t leave a divot in my head. That would make it as difficult to shave as it is now.

I am not about difficult. I am all about easy.

And all of this has thrown off my grocery shopping that was supposed to happen today.

Bitch, bitch, bitch.

Going now to have my head cut into.

Namaste.

Sunrise Earth

MLW and The Princess watch this program every single morning before they stagger out the door on their way to school.

This has to be the most absolutely peaceful program that has ever been produced. The only thing that wrecks it for me is the commercials. The show is filmed at a couple of locations as the sun comes up. And it is beautiful.

And peaceful. On Tuesday of this week it was filmed at a park in China where there were an incredible amount of people exercising. This morning, Friday, it being filmed at Stonehenge.

Granted, this isn’t for high strung folks, or people who get themselves wired up for their day. But if you are the type of person who likes to ease yourself into your morning, Sunrise Earth has got to be for you.
