Let’s just get one thing clear right from the get go.
I am not a fan of scary movies.
I talk about the zombies in the park out behind our house, but I am not one to watch them on a movie. They are just way too creepy. That being said, MLW, The Princess, and I went to watch “Cloverfield” this evening. What a great movie. All of us thoroughly enjoyed it.
For those of you who don’t know what it is about, I am not going to tell you. So there. Actually, it is a cool story about survival, and how people react in a crisis. And that is all I am going to tell you about it.
Other than you should go see it.
Back to my story concerning my fear of scary movies. I even went to the extent of trying to watch the first “Resident Evil” movie the other night, to the amusement of MLW. She doesn’t get scared. I really want to watch the fourth movie in this series as it looks like just a plain ole apocalypse type movie. So, my thought process was, if I can watch the first one, I can desensitize myself to the zombies.
I didn’t work that way. I could only watch the first 45 minutes of the movie before I had to turn the channel. It was just way too gory.
