The Plague struck Arizona this week.

My daughter brought it home from someone she came into contact with. She, in turn, passed it on to her husband.

Now me? I live in the Tower all on my lonesome. And I STILL got it.

Luckily, all of us are vaccinated, and boosted. Josh, Jess’ husband, came down with a low fever saturday night. I came down with the same thing Sunday.

Regardless of all of the cliches out there and men being sick, I have to say that I am a freaking star. I take care of myself. Even when I was in a relationship I took care of myself…when I was sick that is….don’t make this something it isn’t….

I can handle being sick. I can deal with feeling like poop. I can deal with my nose running like a ducks ass. I just can’t deal with a fever, and the chills that come with it. And Sunday night I had chills.

The kind of chills where you are under two comforters, and you are shaking uncontrollably….and your legs are hot so you need to have them out from under the comforters….but there is that shaking that is going on.

And let us not talk about having to go to pee with two comforters wrapped around you.

Luckily, today…July 4th all of us are fever free, and snotty nose dry…..

Yeah…there is that….
