“The year in review.”

“Life in retrospect.”

“Let me tell you how wonderful my year was.”

I read a lot of stuff online. A lot of stuff. Some of it good, and some of it not so good. Maybe the latter is most of what I write, but that is another story for another time. What I am commenting on now is the end of year reverse holiday brag letters. The letters where the author talks about how their year was, how the learned so many new things, how their lives have been impacted by their new insight.

me? Not so much. The title of my end of year letter would be more along the lines of:

“2014: The Year I Got My Ass Handed To Me.”

“2014: Coulda, Shoulda, Woulda”

“2014: Quit Being A Whiner”

I am glad the holidays are over this time around. They were very difficult on many different levels. Personal, professional. Sure there were fun times interspersed with the trudging through the crap.  That goes without saying. You can have crappy times continually, but I didn’t. I haven’t.

You just keep keepin’ on. That is what you do. You don’t quit.

2015 with its blank slate already is offering up a myriad of possibilities. Keep an open mind and an adventurous heart, my friends.

And never quit.
