There is an interesting story about the song below.
It is by a band called Vertical Horizon, and I absolutely love it. When I first bought the CD back in the early 2000’s I had it playing constantly….and of course singing with it.
I lived in Pennsylvania at the time, and we would open the windows in the house every chance we could to let the fresh air in. And one day I was standing at the kitchen sink doing dishes, singing my heart out as I washed.
My wife came in from the backyard, very upset…..telling me that, “People can hear you singing, you know, right?” I was standing at a screened window that was open. The front door was wide open. Of course people could hear me…..
And…..I kinda think that they liked it….
