It began in the aftermath of my last marriage. The collection became known as The Marble St. Tapes.

Dark. Poor lighting. Sketch sound. Sketchier performance. A great deal of bourbon was imbibed, and cigars smoked. And it was fun. It was something having to do with music again.

A few years later the crew went on the road for a couple of years. First stop in North Carolina, and then to Florida. Oh boy, Florida. First pod cast. Studio on a barge out in the Gulf of Mexico….and then moved into an abandoned warehouse in Ft. Walton Beach for a couple of months.

Enter the Meth Lab. Not just a place to sleep. But also a place to trot out the rag tag collection of personalities I keep in my imagination.

I was introduced to the group of friends who became the Magical Mystery Tour, and Freak Show. We traveled around the Southeast until we met with The Followers of Chaos.

The music was a bit more raucous, raw, like an open wound.

Then we packed it all into Mothership and headed West.

We figured out we like the written word more than video. We have been told to pull the big boy pants up and just do it.

All the cool kids are doing it, supposedly….making videos…..I don’t really know if the cool kids are pulling up their big pants up….

Just sayin’……
