There are only a couple of Christmas movies/specials that I am interested in seeing. One of them is “A Charlie Brown Christmas.”
If I had my druthers, it would be snowing when this is on television, and there would be a nice fire in the fireplace. Unfortunately, my druthers have never been recognized as I have never lived in a house with a fireplace. So, I will have to be satisfied with a little snow falling. Not a lot, mind you…I don’t want to have to shovel that crap. Just enough so that when I look out the window I can see the flakes falling.
The first showing of “A Charlie Brown Christmas” will be on November 28th on ABC. Then again on December 5, and 7 on the same channel.
The other show I have to see is “It’s a Wonderful Life.”
This schmalty classic has to be seen every year as close to Christmas as I can find it. Even though I also own the DVD. There is just something about watching this that resonates with me.
NBC will have it on December 14th, and then again on December 24th.
And if you get the chance on December 12 on AMC you can watch this an Irving Berlin Classic, “White Christmas.”
Another amazing movie of the season.
