So are you getting all pumped up with excitement? Are you looking forward to having all of your family and friends around you next Thursday for Thanksgiving?
Or are you feeling a little sense of dread? There is a tremendous amount of stress that goes with holiday get togethers. Child custody issues, alcohol abuse, family members who don’t get along, and money issues. Gather all of those items together in a nice little bag, put a bow on it and stand back to wait for it to blow.
And lets not forget about the cooking disasters
The point to all of this being that Thanksgiving is just another day, kids. Don’t make it out to be more than what it is. Time with family and friends should be enjoyed. And that is all easier said than done because we are talking about our families, now aren’t we?

LOL!! You hit THAT right on the head, Phil!! Jeff and I have had a few very memorable Thanksgivings with some EX-relatives!! And….that’s why they are EX’s!! Had to nervously laugh at the turkey explosion…our son fries turkeys, and this will be our first Turkey Day with him in years…he will be frying the bird. But, he says he’s fried dozens of them before, so hopefully all will be OK. Hope you will have a nice Turkey Day!!
