A dog and myself are the only ones living in my house. No wife, no girlfriend, no room-mate, no kids. Just me and the hound. And still I keep losing clothes. And I am not just talking about socks, though that is a mystery that I don’t feel will ever be solved.
I have went out and bought brand new socks, Made sure that they go into the wash all together. Make sure that they go into the dryer together, and still end up missing on when I take them out of the dryer.
Very frustrating. And mystifying.
But I am more concerned with the sweatshirts that I continue to lose. I have a couple that I love. They are comfortable, and warm. This morning it was wickedly cold. The wind was blowing, and I wanted my navy blue fleece. No where to be found. How can this be? I can’t believe that there is someone who comes into my house and targets my sweatshirts. I know my ex used to. There is something about a woman needing to wear her mates clothes. It is almost a visceral need. This has happened with each of my wives. Maybe it is because my clothes are just so much bigger than they wear…that they enjoyed having a huge shirt on. I don’t know.
What I do know is I want to find out where the heck my navy fleece is. Not going to rest until I find that, and woe be to the one who took it if I find out that that is what happened……
