Yeah, I get that it is cold.
And there is a ton of snow out there. And this type of weather happens in winter. I get all that. I get that that is what I get for living in the Mid-Atlantic.
But I have turned into a hibernating bear. I have closed off the non-used parts of the house, and I only shamble out every couple of days when I need to replenish the supplies.
Some people enjoy this cold, snowy stuff. They get out and go skiing, tubing, ice skating and the like. Gathering with friends and family to gambol about like crazy people.
Me? Not so much. Give me a nice warm place to be, a comfortable chair and something warm to drink and my life is complete. I can do without being cold, and wet. No matter how bundled up I get, the wind cuts through just like the cold wire edge of a whip. Just thinking about it makes me shiver.
So, here is to hoping for an early spring. Sunshine, and warm air wafting through the open windows. The top down, and t-shirts. Anything other than this soul draining cold……..

Would that mean that Toronto City would vie for an ugly cold location also?
