You would think that I would want to talk to you about how my first day at work went.
You would be wrong.
I prefer to talk to you tonight about something that is prevalent, and hideous in our society. Cigars that are allowed to dry out.
Cigars need moisture. And it sucks when you spend good money on a cigar that hasn’t been stored properly. Even worse when you go to a shop and all you have left to purchase are sticks that no one else wants to buy.
Wah, wah, wah. I have a cigar shop, loosely named, just up the road from where we live. And they either let there humidor dry out, or they have just had the cigars in it way too long. They suck. They are dry, and burn like so many leaves wrapped in bigger leaves….and don’t tell me that cigars are made from tobacco leaves. That would be just way too obvious, and I would empty my nostrils in your general direction.
There. I am done. I don’t feel better, but I have to move on.
Thank you.

You go man… gripe on! At least the last shop I hit had an honest enough employee who told me she had been employed a full year before the owner had repurchased cigars for the non humidor display case. Her secret… she told me any box with the lid still attached was bought in the last 30 days. Thank you Mr Fuente. I tipped her well.
Its a bitch to be on the road and searching for a shop in the middle of nowhere’ s Ohio. First search took me to a Head Shop where I was instructed on the 20 words not allowed to speak out loud… pot, bong, cannabis, etc, etc. I asked… “Hey dude, where’s the humidor and cigars?” He replies… the Speedway station has a selection. I am out a here!
