Yeah that.

It seems that the last year of my life spent building resumes specifically designed for each individual company I was applying to, writing cover letters that didn’t sound like I was begging for a job, and then waiting for a reply.  Oh dear KEERIST ON A CRACKER the waiting.  Seems that all of that preparation did not properly prepare me for what it would actually be like HAVING a job.

So it would seem.

The sheer amount of time that I have had to spend today going through all of the Huffington Post, and Yahoo News is incredible.  I worked Thursday and Friday of this last week and I am so behind on everything it is not even funny.  My emails for all the various job sites backed up.  I had over 30 emails in my professional email alone.

Yes, I have a email address for the professional me.  Go figure.  And don’t judge.  You can’t have recruiters replying to a Wormdude named email account.  It is just not the done thing.

And this coming week is even worse!  I have 4 days of work lined up.  FOUR DAYS OF WORK! Let that sink in for a moment.  And these aren’t get-up-whenever-you-want-and-do-what-you-do days of work.  These are get up and get yer ass to the job, do whatever it is that you are doing that day with people swarming around you, and get out.  THAT kind of work.

Sheesh.

I think I need a vacation………
