We made a quick trip to West Virginia the other day to pick of The Day Walker’s Granddaughter….The Day Crawler.
We left North Carolina in a drizzle, and got to West Virginia in the sunshine. The late afternoon and evening was beautiful. It felt just like Indian Summer.
You know that feeling…..the air is dry, with just a tad bit of cool in the air until it gets dark. And then it gets nice a crisp.
This morning we woke up to fog.
It burned off quickly and I could just tell that the Indian Summer I have been lamenting is officially here. At least in West Virginia. The fog this morning though was so heavy that if you walked to far away from the hotel where we are staying, you would be in a world of white.
Now I am just interested to see what Indian Summer looks like in North Carolina.
Hey. We need to talk, y’all. Let us not forget that you can have these ramblings sent directly to your email if you just put your email address in the box over there on the right.————->>>>>>>>>>>
Let’s not forget that, shall we?
Thanks.
