I have been told many, many times that I live in a fantasy world.
And I can agree with that whole-heartedly as I prefer a world where everyone can succeed. One where if a person is willing to follow the instructions given, they will prosper.
Did you catch that first part? If a person is willing to follow the instructions give, they will prosper.
I have had this argument with many people over my 56 years on this planet. I have been told countless times that we live in a world of opportunity, and all we have to do is to take advantage of those opportunities. Work it, and you will prosper.
And I have always disagreed.
Why, you ask?
Because the opportunities that I have found being offered out there always have had a smell of taking advantage of someone else.
And example being…..early in my online life I came across a program that guaranteed that if I followed THE INSTRUCTIONS INCLUDED with the program that I would fill my PayPal account up with hundreds of dollars a day. So I followed the program step-by-step and waited.
Come to find out, I had to market this “program” to others like me wanting to make some extra money. In the hopes that they would toss $5 to me, just as I had tossed $5 to the person I bought it from. A continual system of taking advantage of people.
And there are hundreds of other examples out there that do the same. This has always bugged me about my fellow humans. From the people who are stealing our personal information, to the people who keep sending me notifications that I have won a lottery, or the people who keep telling me that my help is needed for someone to transfer money from wherethehellever to the US, to the people who just out and out lie to me to get money from me.
Humans are a cancer. Sure there are some who are altruistic. But for the most part we would lie, cheat, and steal to get what we want if we had to. And forget anyone who is weaker that might need help.
End of sermon.
