You all have heard of Ear Worms, right? Those songs that get into your head and you just can’t get rid of them?

Well, I have brain worms. Thoughts, questions, things that just pop up in my brain that I just can’t seem to resolve.

All kinds of questions.

But lately the question that is keeping my attention is:

How can men and women communicate effectively, and honestly as equals.

Now that bunch of words can actually be reduced to:

How can men learn to not be dicks to women.

I get that.

Here is an example:

The other day a friends partner posted a loving comment to her. I of course loved the picture he posted and I commented on how adorable she is.

Another friend commented that she is also a wonderful mother, and person.

I got to thinking about that. And my friend is a wonderful, intelligent, caring person.

Am I looking at this with too critical of an eye, or am I looking at this a little too late as I should have been more critical with how I have interacted with women in the past.

And please do not think that I am being facetious. This is a real concern that I have, being the father of two daughters.
