I am partnered with a woman who has a very strong personality. A woman who is used to making plans on the fly, and gathering up any and all children in the near vicinity to go on her adventures.

We have been to the beach in a caravan of 3 vehicles, sleeping stacked like cord wood in two hotel rooms. We have been in a caravan of three vehicles again to the zoo….shepherding 11 kids around to see the animals, ride the rides, and have fun.

My world has become one of, “Oh, by the way….”, and finding out the the participants have increased since being informed of an activity.

And please, do not think that this is my whining….on the contrary. The Queen of the kingdom amazes me in that she is always looking at the children in the family and trying to involve them in fun activities. This Queen would rather cut off her hand rather than leave anyone out.

What better leader could a kingdom have than a compassionate, caring Queen? Sure, being here has put me through changes….I am the grumpy, old curmudgeon of the bunch. That is not in question….but this woman is best thing for one such as me….
