I have been retired since August of 2020.

In the time since I have been working with a nifty delivery business where I made some good money. Good money, that is, for someone who is getting retirement on top whatever I make delivering.

And the first of the year came around, and a bunch of drivers were hired and the number of deliveries dwindled….even though the business thrived, there were too many drivers. For example, I have gone to the warehouse where I pick up orders to deliver, and find that there are 4 – 5 other drivers there. I have waited up to two hours before I received a delivery.

You would think that would be a dream. But I can’t just hang out with strangers like I used to. It makes me nervous.

In that vein, I started looking for something to give me some traveling money. It can’t just be any job. Whatever I end up doing has meet certain criteria.

It must not be strenuous. And I am serious about this. I am officially a lazy pile of human. I have no need to be important, the leader, an over-achiever. Nope, nope, nope. Not that I have ever been any of those things……

It can’t have too much dealings with the public. I can deal with people long enough to get them to have me scan their license if alcohol is being delivered.

I have become a dilettante.

Along with understanding that you can’t just make money out of nothing. No matter what YouTube tells.

Because I have tried most what is offered there…..
