I have, it seems, sleep apnea.

Like most people my age.

I know that I have sleep apnea because my primary doctor told me I did. And he sent me to another doctor who also told me I sleep apnea, who in turn sent me to a doctor who set me up for a sleep study.

And I waited two weeks to be able to pick up the technology I needed to conduct a sleep study at home.

And then I waited another three weeks to get the data read, and to be discussed with me.

And I now know that I stop breathing up to 25 times an hour. I officially have sleep apnea.

And now I need to wait for the company who is shipping my cpap to contact me. I am wondering if it will take two weeks…..

Why is two weeks the default here? Can anyone explain this to me?
