Because July is cherry month in Michigan I present a very simple cherry cider.
128 oz of apple juice. Pure. No Additives.
32 oz of cherry juice. I used Langers tart for this first try. We shall see.
1 lb of cane sugar.
3 grams of yeast nutrient.
Cloe du Blanc yeast.
It all went into the fermenter this afternoon. I expect to see some bloopage tomorrow. Because……there is sugar in the cherry juice along with the pound of sugar. All those little yeasties have a veritable smorgasbord to snack.
