Yeah.
I’m doing it again. Billboarding a vague title to see if that will draw you in.
But it isn’t malicious. It is very related to what I want to chat about.
Importance.
What is really important. I struggled with this for decades. Should say that I struggle with this daily.
Money. Possessions. Type of work.
We all will admit to family being very important. Our parents, brothers, sisters, cousins, aunts, uncles, grands…you get the picture.
We can be anything we want. We can have anything we want. As long as we are willing to do what it takes to get to the goal.
How do we figure out what is, and what isn’t important?
Maslow’s hierarchy of needs….Basic needs, Psychological needs, Self-fullfillment needs.
Do each level need to be achieved before you can move to the next? Or are they all entwined?
And what does this have to do with feelings of importance?
Don’t know.
Just where my head went this morning. Feeling satisfied with my life. Continuing to come to terms with the choices I have had made over the years.
Seeing that I could have lived my life differently, but no longer feeling guilt, or regret. Feeling appreciation, and acceptance of all the learning I did, and continue to do.
Or maybe I should just not wake and bake.
Yo….
