I have a Sunday morning ritual. There is something about Sundays that I just love. I get up. Make some coffee. Toss some bread in the toaster. And get out the peanut butter. I do love me some peanut butter.
The way that heat transforms a piece of boring bread into a slice of warm deliciousness….and the the addition of peanut butter on top of that. The warmth of the bread melting the peanut butter just a tad makes it all seem that much more amazingly awesome.
I do love peanut butter.
Moving on.
Part of my Sunday morning is reading. Reading the news, various blogs, Twitter. And checking myself from being critical, and judgemental. But we humans LURVE to be judgemental, now don’t we? And we make it soooo easy for people to judge what we do and say.
And we make it soooo freaking easy. Especially folks like me who publish our thoughts out there on the interwebs for all the world to see.
And believe you me, ALL the world sees what you put on the ole WWW. Every day I get hits from Europe, Asia, Australia, Russia, South America. I can only imagine what my visitors from those countries think of the things I have to say. What their opinions are of my take on things. I would love to hear more from all of my visitors, not just when I write something that pisses them off.
Which I do now and then…..imagine that.
But the whole point of this mish mash of words is just this…..we all are parts of the same whole. Give each other a break. We all are struggling with something, and pretty much all of us could use a hand.
And some more peanut butter.
