So a thing happened today.
I made the skeeter pee/lemonade wine without doing a video. I have to tell you, I am just about as shocked as you.
A gallon of lemonade from concentrate, 2lbs of sugar, a cup of black tea, and a champagne yeast. This stuff should be interesting.
I also changed the rubber grommet that the air lock fits into. I believe that that is why I never saw any activity in the air lock previously…a bad seal. So. Now I wait. A gallon batch in a 2 gallon fermenting bucket. And since yeast come with no instructions as to what you can expect, as it…they?…do what doggone want, when they want.
But that never keeps me from looking for the bloop. It is the simple things.
