I really do not know how much good I would be during a zombie apocalypse.
Beyond the whole being out of shape, and old part, that is.
There is the whole relentlessness of zombies. They just don’t stop coming. A perfect allegory for life itself…..which is pretty funny, if you think of it. Using zombies as an allegory for life….
Then there is the constant killing…..not that you can kill something that is un-dead. We all know you have to brain punch zombies. That is the only way to stop them. Destroy the brain.
It is one thing to say that you, or specifically me, can do that. It is a completely different thing to actually do it. Especially having never been put in the position of having to do it.
That is the interesting thing about concepts. Trying to put yourself in the mental position of having to do something that you have never done before. Getting beyond the fear of doing something different, being different.
It is so much easier to just stay the way we are. Life, like zombies, is relentless though…. remember?
