If you have the chance to do something, do it.

It really is that simple.

I have embarked on a journey with my youngest. We are going to visit my youngest son, his wife, and their son…Lux, the Magnificent.

Across 3 states, 519 miles of turnpike, and highways.

It was raining in Pa when we left. Making the twisting and winding, hilly turnpike heading west was just not as much fun as you would expect.

Completely in opposite from the Ohio…which is flat as a pancake.

Easy flow of traffic, easy flow of conversation. Politics, world issues, issues closer to home. So interesting, satisfying, and heart warming to listen to the thoughts of one of your children.

To listen to the voices. Like the voices of angels are the voices of your children.

So if you have the chance to travel to hear those voices do it.

It is always worth it.
