Life is all about decisions, now isn’t it?  I have a plethora of ideas running through my head, topics of conversation between you and I.  And I just can’t seem to make up my mind as to what specific one to discuss.

Should we talk about the calming effect that the waves on the beach have?  What is it about listening to the ocean waves that takes a raging mind and soothes it so?

The Day Walker and I were standing on her deck watching the sun go down last night.  Listening to waves, watching the dolphins play in the surf.  And we were trying to figure out what about that combination soothes folks.  Never did figure it out definitively.  But is sure is beautiful.

We could discuss Thanksgiving, and the annual retail blood bath that seems to begin earlier, and earlier every year.

You know what I am talking about.  Standing in line in the dead of night, waiting for the doors to open so that you can push your way in with a crowd of like-minded people hoping to snag one of a limited number of items that the store is offering at a discount.

But that topic just pisses me off, so let’s deal with that one at another time.

We could talk about the snow that has fallen in Michigan, Ohio, and is on its way to Pennsylvania.

Can I reiterate how much I do not like snow?  I am soooooo beyond snow at this time in my life.  It is nice when I am reading about my friends and their inability to find their window brushes that I am sitting on the deck with the sun in my face, listening to the ocean.  There we go with the ocean again.  There is just something about it.

We could talk about how even though Veterans Day is now over, that we need not forget about our active, and retired heroes.  Their lives go on through the rest of the year, just as ours do.

Or I could go get some more coffee, and just smile into the sun.

Yea.  I think that that is what I am gonna do………….
