Ahhh….so good to have lived through 3 eras of music with such convenient titles that I can use…

That being said….the anxiety level has reached overload.

As of Sunday morning Irma is moving toward the mainland after passing through the Keys. At this point the projection is for the storm to travel up the west coast of Florida….making landfall around Naples. I am in the panhandle between Pensacola, and Destin. My area is projected to have tropical storm winds and rain.

If Irma jogs out to the west, back into the gulf, my shaggy ass is out of here and headed to Alabama. As I have commented to various friends and family…I ain’t no hero…the idea of hurricane winds blowing a tiki torch into my chest is just not appealing.

My weather today is a little gloomy. Cumulus clouds that the sun is using for peek-a-boo, temps in the mid-80’s, and a decent breeze blowing. Yesterday I went to the beach for a few hours and it was almost cold. A typical ocean breeze with gusts that were just freaking cold. I regretted that I didn’t bring one of my drug rugs with me. Only went in the ocean once. Today I am going to go back but I am not planning on getting in. I just want to get some pictures and get a sense of what is going on.

But right now, I am trying not to throw up. Yep. The anxiety is that high. And I am very confident that this storm is not going to hit close to where I am….but the not knowing…evening with all the information that is out there is freaking me out.

Prayers, and positive thoughts going out to all of my family and friends who ARE going to be effected by this bitch of a storm.
