“The unexamined life is not worth living.”  Socrates.

Plenty of questions in this world.  Where do I fit in?  What is my purpose?  Who was the man on the grassy knoll?  Is the Hokey Pokey really what it is all about?

I love a good mystery.  Started out with the reading of the Hardy Boy books, and moved into all the other various authors as I grew up.  Scooby Do cartoons, the X-files, Millenium, Lost, and pick any number of others that have been on television and in the movie theaters over the years.  Love ’em, love ’em, love ’em.

But in the love is the constant question of what the hell am I looking for?

Am I trying to figure out my place in this world?  Trying to make some sense out of a life that seems to make little to none?  Is there more to this world than just going to work, earning some money, and then spending it?  That has always seemed so plebeian to me.  So common, and mundane.

“Woe to him who saw no more sense in his life, no aim, no purpose, and therefore no point in carrying on.”
― Viktor E. FranklMan’s Search for Meaning

I know lots of folks who hate mysteries.  Can’t stand them.  Look at them as a waste of time.

What about you?  Are you a mystery fan?  Love a good conspiracy theory?  Weigh in on it.  Maybe we can figure out if Sirhan Sirhan was Bobby Kennedy’s killer or not.
